Don't we love a man who listens?

My nephew, James, is a 4th year medical student at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia.  He and two of his fellow students were chosen to travel to China for a visiting medical student program at the First People's Hospital of Changzhou.   When I first heard about it, I was secretly delighted.  Having been to China myself, I knew there were so many great experiences ahead of him.  Two of them I pointed out upfront:  The Great Wall and Acupuncture.

Well this is a man who listens……………………five days after his touchdown in Shanghai, I received the picture above.  James is in the center.  Yes, the dude took my advice and sent a photo to prove it.  Needless to say, he looks like he is on top of the world and he is!  The Great Wall is  definitely one of the greatest attractions ever to witness. I can actually feel his excitement -- it is as vivid as the day I walked that very same path.

I am especially eager to hear about his exposure to Acupuncture.  He will definitely be exploring that and, most likely, be receiving his very first treatment.  He has heard me rave about the benefits of Acupuncture, Massage and Reiki for many years and now he will get to practice it all first hand with the masters.  I love that he will be blending eastern and western medicine together and he will be a better Doctor because of that.

James – next stop Xian!   I need to see your pictures of the Terracotta Warriors.  When you come home, you can practice your Acupuncture skills on me:)  Love you xxoo
