An Officer and a Gentleman

So, you ask, what is this handsome Richard Gere lookalike doing on Pilates Fit Tips???? Well he is fit, he is an Officer and he is definitely a gentleman.  I am posing with my nephew, James Dominic Haddad, who deserves a shout out after his graduation last Friday.  Best wishes to James and his fellow graduates of Temple University School of Medicine.  James had the honor of receiving  awards from the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.  FYI, that means he is pretty smart LOL.   

He then changed into his Navy dress whites and recited the oath of office as he was promoted to Lieutenant.  Even though he gets a pay raise on my tax dollars, I couldn’t be happier:)  I consider it money well spent since our country has gained an outstanding citizen who will serve proudly and doctor wisely in internal medicine.  It seems like only yesterday that I had him poised in his bolster seat on the kitchen table for our haircut ritual.  I should have known back then that if he trusted his Edward Scissorhands aunt to trim his hair while staring transfixed in Zen-like meditation, he could rule the ER.  He received his first match to the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, CA.  Nice post, dude – sun and fun on the beach.  Expect company so please get the Aerobed ready.  A little bit of advice -- don’t sit down in that outfit.
